Step by Step Instructions for Opening
As noted previously, each box of TERRO liquid ant killer comes with 6 or 12 pre-baited stations. They are each sealed so the bait stays fresh until you’re ready to use them. Below outlines step-by-step instructions for how to open liquid ant bait stations:
- Break pre-filled baits apart from the plastic frame.
- Hold the pre-filled bait station firmly with bait pack tab facing up.
- Break off the tab by twisting it and be careful not to spill the liquid bait.
- Place the bait station label side up on a flat surface near signs of ants.
- Monitor the stations regularly for activity but do not interfere with the ants or baits.
*Plan B – If the tab does not cleanly break off by firmly holding and twisting, don’t be afraid to use scissors. Use scissors that you do not regularly use for cooking. After using them to cut off the tab, clean them with warm soap and water.
